The Youth Advisory Council is a group of engaged high school students from the McLean community who partner with SCC to elevate youth voices in prevention and mental wellness work.
YAC members participate in a training program during the school year which enables them to:
✓ Advise SCC on youth-related issues and trends
✓ Help plan and support programs and events
✓ Build leadership, communication, and civic engagement skills
✓ Serve as ambassadors for healthy decision-making among peers
Participation offers meaningful service hours and leadership experience while contributing to positive change in the community.
